Comments: I had recent total knee replacement with Dr Jason Davis and I highly recommend him. I injured my knee when I was 14 and had initial surgery at that time and another surgery called an osteotomy several years later. I also had a MVA 7/23 and it made the knee very painful and more stiff. I am also a physician so I know how important it is to be comfortable with your surgeon. I had complicated problem and I got a few opinions from orthopedic surgeons and felt most confident with Dr. Davis. The surgery was performed at Henry Ford West Bloomfield and it went amazingly. All the staff were great and Dr. Davis did a fantastic job using the Mayko robotic technique. I went home after the surgery and on the first night I am having no significant pain with the medical pain regimen they have me on. I can also bend my knee 90 degrees already and before it was 35 degrees. I am also able to pedal on a recumbent bike and haven’t been able to pedal to ride any bike since my accident. Dr. Davis has a seamless process from your initial consultation to your postoperative care. As you can see from reading this with Dr. Davis you are good hands.
